It really doesn't look that bad in this picture, they kind of look like freckles now. Maybe they really are just going away...Who knows?!
I decided to go onto WebMD to see if they can solve all of my problems. (Which I think this site is a hypochondriac's nightmare or dream, I guess.) After going through the questionnaire I narrowed it down to a list of, oh, 20 possible conditions. I could possibly have had Rheumatic Fever, but then I haven't had a sore throat. I could have Actinic Keratosis, which is basically precancerous skin. That is great news. After reading through this description, I for sure am going to get checked out for skin cancer. Scary!
I decided to keep looking at any other possible condition. Hmm, Brown Recluse Spider Bite. I would have loved to read up on that one, but all it told me was where they live and what the spiders look like. This doesn't quite help someone know if they have been bit, but since they live in Arizona and California, I figured I was probably safe. Well, that and the fact that I'm not dead yet.
I looked at poison ivy, oak and sumac, and based on the description, I am pretty sure it was one of these. It says that the rash doesn't show up for 8 to 48 hours after contact and it itches. These were the only two that matched the description, and it sounded like exposure to these plants was worse than what I am experiencing.
So basically, after using WebMD, I still have ABSOLUTELY no clue what is wrong with my hand. I just really hope I don't die. Or have cancer. I guess having cancer on your hand is better than on the face.

Don't worry Alex, they're liver spots.
You're just getting old. ;)
